Our worldwide network of offices effectively functions as your company’s overseas export/import office.   We can manage your ocean shipments of any size, including full container load (FCL) and less-than-container-load (LCL) with import to US, export from US or foreign-to-foreign.  Our consolidation service includes LCL consolidation where we group shipments from multiple shippers to multiple consignees.  Or we can deliver a Buyer’s consolidation service where we group shipments from multiple vendors to one or many consignee locations.  We can flexibly deliver from port to port, port to door, or door to door.

Transmodal operates as a Non-vessel owning common carrier (NVOCC) globally and has a multitude of service contracts with all of the major global shipping lines.  These relationships offer a multitude of sailings and service strings and our buying power allows us to pass on substantial rate savings to our customers. 

Our experienced staff can advise you on the best way to consolidate your shipments, find the best rate, and recommend the best routing and carrier service for your goods.  We have a fully automated back-office process and coordinate bookings with an approval process that is all part of a standard operating procedure.  In addition, we can handle all the paperwork and help you comply with all security regulations as a direct AMS filer and a flexible set of services for Importer Security Filings.  You can monitor the status of your shipment with our Visibility solution or we can deliver shipment status advice to your own tracking solution.

For companies that import case-pack goods, we offer a new service called Import Direct that integrates and synchronizes your supply chain from order to delivery notice and offers the highest level of cycle time reduction.  Import Direct uses advanced technologies to coordinate orders and ship windows with your vendors.
